Praise Assembly Church Ministries welcomes veteran musician and educator Logan Reynolds Jr. as its minister of music. Reynolds began his new role on January 1.

Reynolds, a native of Winston-Salem, has an expansive career that includes choral training, musical directorship, band leadership, music department management and implementation. During his more than 30-year career, he has lent his musical talents to an array of ministries and professional vocalists.

Focused on outcomes, Reynolds strives to develop great sound tapestries that elevate artists to the next level. He has worked as a producer, songwriter and arranger programmer for award-winning artists such as Vince Gill, Smokie Norful, Donnie McClurkin, Kirk Whalum, and BeBe and CeCe Winans, just to name a few.

Reynolds holds a bachelor’s degree in commercial music with a concentration in piano from Winston-Salem State University. He has served as the executive director of the West Angeles Music Corporation; a teacher in the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Department of Ethnomusicology; and choir director, organist/pianist at West Angeles Church of God in Christ led by Bishop Charles Blake Sr.

Prior to joining PACM, Reynolds served as the director of music and arts at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, where he directed and managed the adult and youth choirs, men’s chorus, praise and worship ensemble, liturgical dance, handbell ensemble, and more. He has also served as the minister of music at Grace Church in Durham and Mount Zion Baptist Church in Tullahoma, Tennessee.

Praise Assembly Church Ministries is a growing, Bible-believing ministry that is focused on sharing the love of Jesus Christ and being a welcoming place for people to fellowship. It is PACM’s belief that, through the gospel, your life can change, you can be healed, and your family can be restored. Join them online at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday as Dr. Johnny L. York, the senior pastor, shares God’s tools for living life more abundantly.
